Akkara Kazhchakkal (translation - sights from the other side) is a famous Television Sitcom that aired on the Malayalam TV channel 'Kariali TV' comprising of 50 episodes which depict the life of a common Indian Malayalee family settled in the United States. The sitcom was a huge hit online after it was aired on YouTube, mostly owing to its simple narration and humorous manner of depicting the life abroad.
This blog is inspired by the sitcom and I will be putting across the day to day experiences of a common Indian family (my family) who have migrated to the United States. While the sitcom was widely based on a humorous theme, this blog will present you with a more realistic experience of the life in the US.
So my dear readers, will be posting the first post in a few days (have to think of a fitting topic to start with); hope you enjoy reading the experiences of 'Akkara Kazhchakkal - the Blog'!
